I have dated a guy like this and I can totally understand what you're talking about! They act like they are all sweet and innocent and it is just them getting the hooks in. There always seems to be one point where they just go crazy and you wonder who the person next to you is scary. -

I'm glad you got out of such an awful situation. Some people are just manipulative and suck you dry. I hope you never repeat the process and know to get out at the first sign no matter how much you like the person. -

I feel your pain on this one. I've been in your situation on more than one occasion. When you are in this type of relationship, you feel degraded and end up not trusting yourself to make a good decision. My advice would be...Date for a LONG time before committing to anything. It's a good way to weed out the fools.
