FOOD (Aug14 2008)
The first step to overcoming your addiction is admiting you have a problem. I see that you are doing that. My suggestion for you is to to get American Heart Association cookbook. The book has a list suggesting which foods you should have more and which foods you should have less. You can also talk to a nutritionist. Maybe your desire for food has to do with your body going through some changes. I know that are many active people with big appetites. Be careful about going on any kind of diet. It is better to talk to your dietician or nutritionist first.

Syllables (Aug14 2008)
Wow! that is a unique compulsion. What if people say a lot of thing? Do you count every syllables in every words and phrases? I wish I can have your trait so that I count instead of listening to negatives.

my addiction (Aug14 2008)
Sweet! that is a lot of books. You must have spend a lot of time in your room reading. Be careful or you will have a tumbling volcano of books. Your story reminds me that I am addicted to books too. I am addicted to history text books. I bought them online, at school, at half-price book stores. I don't have as many books as you do. I sleep with books under the pillows. Sometimes I just look at them and say awww. Maybe you could donate books you don't read to the libraries or better world books. I could never get rid of my history books. If I sell them, I end up buying the same titles and volumes again.
